Margrét Vigfúsdóttir was born in Árnessýsla on August 15, 1864. She died on December 7, 1945. She had the last name Vigfússon in the west. Unmarried and childless. Margrét came to the West in 1899, settled in Winnipeg and lived there for many years, but in the last years of her life she was at Bethel in Gimli.
