Stefán Kristinn Ólafur Kristinsson was born in the Garðar settlement in N. Dakota on May 5, 1883. He died in Calgary, Alberta on November 17, 1905. He had the first name Stephan in the west.
Unmarried and childless.
Stefán was the son of Kristin Kristinsson and Sigurlaug Einöra Guðmundsdóttir in Markerville, Alberta. He grew up in the Garðar settlement with his parents and moved west with them to Alberta. There he contracted typhus and died.
