Sveinbjörg Anna Sigurbjörnsdóttir was born in the Shoal Lake (Grunnavatn) in October 1915. She died on November 20, 1977. She had the last name Kristjanson in the west and later Benedictson with marriage.

Sveinbjörg was the daughter of Sigurbjörn Kristjánsson and Sigurbjörg Sveinbjörnsdóttir who first lived in the Shoal Lake (Grunnavatn) settlement and later, after 1920, on land south of Lundar. Haraldur was the son of Sigurbjörn Benediktsson and Kristveig Jónsdóttir Freeman in Lundar. Haraldur and Sveinbjörg lived a short distance from Otto in the Shoal Lake settlement.
