Albert Pálsson was born in Manitoba.
He was the son of Páll Jónsson and Ólaf Níelsdóttir who came to Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1876. Albert lived in his father’s home and moved to the Vallar Settlement in Saskatchewan as his parents had done. He took land there, but moved to Saskatoon and then to Edmonton, Alberta.
