Arnfríður Magnúsdóttir was born on June 14, 1865 in Gullbringusýsla. She died on March 25, 1941 in Selkirk, Manitoba.
Spouse: Þórður Tómas Þórðarson b. December 31, 1856 in Gullbringusýsla, d. in Gimli in New Iceland on February 16, 1902.
Children: With Þórður: 1. Theodore b. December 1, 1890. With Þorbergur Fjeldsted: 1. Anna Magnea 2. Helga Arnbjörg b. 1905, d. 1921.
They came west to Manitoba in 1900 and settled in Gimli. Þórður died there and Arnfríður moved to Winnipeg with her son. She worked there for a little over a year, then became a housekeeper for Þorbergur Fjeldsted. He lost his wife in 1887, having just arrived in the West with six children. Arnfríður moved with him to Mikley, where they lived for 16 years. From there, they made their way to Selkirk, where Þorbergur died on October 2, 1931. Then Arnfríður moved to live with his daughter Anna and her family.
