Árni Einarsson was born in Snæfellsnessýsla on April 4, 1862. He died on December 13, 1948 in the Lundar Settlement.
Spouse: 1896 Kristín Magnúsdóttir b. September 20, 1868, d. February 26, 1929.
Children: 1. Helga Lilja b. 1897 2. Hólmfríður Salóme b. 1898 3. Albert b. September 3, 1900 4. Friðgeir b. 1903.
Árni came west to Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1887. He first worked there as a railroad worker, but when his brother Einar and their mother, Elinborg Jóhannsdóttir, came west, they all moved to Pilot Mound, southwest of Winnipeg. Kristín arrived there in 1894. Kristín and Árni decided to move to the Lundar Settlement in 1899 and they lived there the rest of their lives.
