Arnór Árnason was born in Ísafjarðarsýsla on September 23, 1868. Died January 16, 1939.
Spouse: February 15, 1890 in Manitoba, Margrét Jónsdóttir b. in Húnavatnssýsla on September 12, 1861, d. January 16, 1939 in Oak Point.
Children: 1. Árni b. August 16, 1891, died at a few months of age 2. Helga b. February 6, 1895 in Chicago.
Arnór was the son of Árni Böðvarsson, archdeacon, and his wife Helga Arnórsdóttir. Árni came west in 1887 while Margrét arrived a year later and she settled in Brandon. They moved to Duluth in 1890 and lived there two years, then moved to Chicago. In 1910, they moved to Winnipeg where they lived for a few years. They ended up in Oak Point.
