Dakota in 1880. Egill grew up there, took land in Sherwood, N. Dakota, and lived there the rest of his life. Kristín was the daughter of Freysteinn Jónsson and Kristín Eyjólfsdóttir in Gullbringusýsla. She came west in 1886 to N. Dakota.
