Eiríka Sigurbjörg Sigurðardóttir was born in N. Múlasýsla in 1880. She died in Lundar, Manitoba in 1954. She took the name Eirikka Bogga Kristjanson in the west and with marriage.

Eiríka came west to Manitoba in 1884 with her parents, Sveinbjörn Sigurðsson and Eiríka Eiríksdóttir, and were in Winnipeg for some time. They were among the pioneer settlers in Burnt Lake, Manitoba which was called Síbería. They moved from there to near Lundar and the couple Eiríka and Sigurbjörn lived the rest of their lives.
