Elín Guðrún Jónsdóttir was born on January 26, 1872 in Dalasýsla. She died in Vancouver in 1970.
Spouse: October 26, 1895 Friðrik Ágúst Kristmannsson b. in Dalasýsla on August 19, 1871, d. in British Columbia on July 5, 1949. He took the name Fred Kristmanson in the west.
Children: 1. Anna b. 1892, d. 1910. 2. Jóhanna Sesselja b. October 6, 1899 3. Hjörtur Rósmann 4. Snæbjörn Skarphéðinn 5. Valdimar Daníel b. 1903 6. Jónas Júlíus 7. Emma 8. Ólafur 9. George 10. Sara 11. Steina. Five died young.
They came west in 1903 with Anna, Jóhanna Sesselja was left due to illness. She was supposed to come west a year later with relatives but nothing came of it; she never went west. She met her mother in 1965. Friðrik worked in construction in Winnipeg for four years, lived for a while in Selkirk, but settled in the Lundar Settlement where the family lived until 1913. He then moved west to the Pacific Ocean and settled in the Ósland Settlement in British Columbia.
