Children: 1. Sigríður b. 1865 2. Klemens Brynjólfur b. 1869. Another three children died in childhood. Magnús earlier had Jósías b. 1853 and Klementín Ingibjörg b. 1863 with Jóhanna Jónsdóttur.
They came west to Canada in 1875 where Jósías had arrived a year earlier. The family settled in Markland, Nova Scotia on a farm named Bólstaðarhlíð. With them was Elísabet’s sister, Ingibjörg Guðrún, and her children Kristjana Margrét b. 1864 and Jónas Steinn b. 1866. They were the children of Guðmundur Einarsson. They later moved to N. Dakota and then to Oregon.
