Spouse: Páll Gíslason b. in Shawano County in Wisconsin in 1879. He took the name Paul Dalman in the west.

Engilráð was the daughter of Jón Markússon and Margrét Jóhannsdóttir who came west to Winnipeg from Skagafjörður in 1888. Páll was the son of Gísli Jónsson and Karólína Jónsdóttir who came west in 1873 and settled in Wisconsin. They were early pioneers in Rev. Páll Þorláksson’s settlement in Shawano County in 1876 but moved on to N. Dakota in 1880. Life’s road led them to Winnipeg and there Páll lived the rest of his life. In 1916, they lived at 854 Banning St. in Winnipeg and Páll’s mother, Karólína, lived with them. Engilráð’s parents also lived there.
