They came west in 1876 and settled in the Hnausa Settlement in New Iceland, calling their land Finnmörk. They lived there a number of years, but in 1881 they moved south to N. Dakota and took land in the Akra Settlement.
In 1899, they moved back to Canada and settled in the Álftavatn Settlement in Manitoba.
