Fjóla Magnúsdóttir was born on September 13, 1901 in the Lundar Settlement in Manitoba.
Spouse: Páll Björnsson b. in eastern Borgarfjörður in N. Múlasýsla on January 28, 1884, d. in the Lundar Settlement in 1953. He took the name Paul Johnson in the west.
Children: 1. Margrét Guðrún b. 1927 2. Paul Edward b. 1929 3. Donald Kenneth b. 1935 4. Cyril Leon b. 1938.
Fjóla was the daughter of Magnús Kristjánsson and Margrét Daníelsdóttir in the Lundar Settlement. Páll came west to Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1888 with his parents, Björn Jónsson and Guðrún Pálsdóttir, who settled in the Lundar Settlement. Páll grew up there and when old enough, he took land with his brother Jón and built a magnificent house there which they named Hofteig. Páll lived there for eleven years but moved from there to the village of Lundar, opened a stable, and later ran a transport company there.
