Guðbjörg Jónsdóttir was born on August 29, 1870 at Akranes in Borgarfjarðarsýsla. She died on August 11, 1926.
Spouse: 1898 Kristján Eggertsson Fjeldsted b. May 30, 1864 in Snæfellsnessýsla, d. September 17, 1945 in the Lundar settlement.

They came west across the sea in 1903 and settled in Winnipeg where Kristján built a house and sold it after four years. From there the road led to the Lundar settlement where they took land and started farming. They moved to Lundar in 1920.
