Guðleif Árnadóttir was born on October 24, 1865 in Mjóafjörður in N. Múlasýsla. She died on March 14, 1951.
Spouse: 1891 Jón Jónsson b. at Setberg in Hornafjörður in E. Skaftafellssveit on May 30, 1864, d. April 1, 1928. He took the last name Hornfjörð in the west.

They came west to Manitoba in 1890, settled in the Ísafold settlement, and lived there 10 years. They moved onto land in the Framnes settlement in 1901 and lived there 20 years. They then moved west to Leslie, Saskatchewan in 1922.
