After a year there, they moved to the Lakes Settlement (Vatnabyggð) in Saskatchewan and settled there, living in Foam Lake. They moved west to Point Roberts, Washington in 1913. Ingibjörg’s brothers, Jón and Halldór, both lived in Foam Lake and settled there at the same time.
