They emigrated west to Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1889 and settled in the Argyle Settlement a year later. They moved west and bought land in the Vallar Settlement in western Manitoba in 1900. They continued west and took land in the Vatnabyggð (Lakes Settlement) in Saskatchewan and moved there in 1910. They lived in the Kandahar/Dafoe area.
