Haraldur Brynjólfsson was born in Rosseau, Ontario. He died on April 11, 1979 in Vancouver. He had the name Haraldur B. Johnson in the west.
Spouse: 1916 Margrét Magnúsdóttir from Reykjavík in Gullbringusýsla, d. April 3, 1964 in Vancouver.
Children: 1. Florence 2. Thelma 3. Fern.
Haraldur moved with his parents, Brynjólfur Jónsson and Guðrún Jónsdóttur, in 1884 to Mountain, N. Dakota and from there to the Lakes Settlement (Vatnabyggð) in Saskatchewan in 1905. He took land in the Wynyard Settlement and lived there some time before moving his family to Port Albernie, British Columbia. Haraldur and Margrét moved to Vancouver and, after her death, Haraldur moved into the Höfn care home in the city.
