Ingibjörg Guðmundsdóttir was born in Árnessýsla in 1853. She died in Winnipeg August 9, 1944.
Spouse: 1) Helgi Jónsson b. 1852 in S. Múlasýsla, d. in Saskatchewan in 1887 2) 1889 Bjarni Davíðsson b. September 18, 1855, d. March 9, 1928. He took the last name Westmann in the west.

Ingibjörg came west to Winnipeg in 1876. There she married Helgi and they lived in the town until 1886. Then they moved west to Shellmouth, Manitoba where Helgi opened a store and Ingibjörg was the store manager. From there, they made their way a year later west to Langenburg, Sasketchewan, where Helgi built a residential building and a shopping center. His colleague was Bjarni Davíðsson. Helgi had already become quite ill when he arrived there and died there in the autumn. A year later, Bjarni moved the store to Churchbridge and there he married Ingibjörg. Ingibjörg moved to Winnipeg in her later years.
