Ingimundur Jónsson was born in Rangárvallasýsla on August 24, 1868. He died on January 10, 1940 in San Diego, California. Ingimundur changed his name to Ingimore which he later shortened to Im Johnson.
Spouse: 1) November 27, 1891 Hildur Árnadóttir b. July 9, 1873 in the Westmann Islands (Vestmannaeyjar) d. June 25, 1918 in Leathbridge, Alberta, Canada. 2) June 12, 1919 Rannveig Þórarinsdóttir b. September 22, 1875 in W. Skaftafellssýsla, d. April 6, 1955. She was the widow of Gísli Gíslason.

Ingimundur emigrated west to Spanish Fork, Utah in 1886 with his parents, Jón Ingimundarson and Þórdís Þorbjörnsdóttir, and his siblings. Hildur had emigrated there in 1880 with her mother, Vigdís Jónsdóttir. Hildur and Ingimundur moved to Alberta, Canada in 1903, and bought land near Taber. Rannveig emigrated west to Utah with her parents in 1883 and moved to Alberta after her husband died. She and Ingimundur later settled in San Diego, California where Ingimundur worked as a house builder.
