Ingiríður Guðmundsdóttir was born on October 20, 1878 in Mýrasýsla. She died in Manitoba on April 26, 1951.
Spouse: Björn Björnsson b. June 19, 1870 in N. Þingeyjarsýsla, d. in Winnipeg, Manitoba on May 13, 1938. He was known as Rev. Bjorn Bjornsson in the west.

Ingiríður came west to Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1888 with her parents, Guðmundur Jónsson and Guðný Símonardóttir. They settled in Mikley but Ingiríður was left in foster care in Winnipeg where she got schooling and became a teacher. Björn came west to Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1876 with his parents, Björn Jónsson and Þorbjörg Björnsdóttir. Björn went for higher education and became a pastor. He served the Icelandic communities in Minnesota from 1894 to 1914 and was the pastor at the First Lutheran Church in Winnipeg from 1914 to 1938.
