They came west to Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1885 and moved on to New Iceland. They settled in Mikley and lived there 11 years. Floods in Lake Winnipeg forced them to move and they went to Selkirk where they stayed for two years. From there they made their way to the Lundar Settlement.
