They moved from there in 1883 to N. Dakota. Lilja came west to N. Dakota with her mother, Lilja Ólafsdóttir, in 1883. Jón and Lilja moved west to the Pacific coast in 1899 and settled in Skagit County, Washington. They lived there the rest of their lives.
