Jón Júlíus Árnason
Jón Júlíus Árnason was born in Skagafjarðarsýsla on July 30, 1849. He took the last name Anderson in the west. He died on June 2, 1925 in Manitoba.

Jón came west as a widower with his and Margrét’s children in 1887. They moved first to the Argyle Settlement, then onto the Hóla Settlement in 1889. They immediately settled on land and lived there twenty years. They moved from there to Glenboro and lived there until his dying days.
