Jónasína Ingibjörg Halldórsdóttir was born in Eyjafjarðarsýsla on July 18, 1860. She died in Mountain, N. Dakota on April 17, 1954. She went by Ingibjörg in the west.
Spouse: Valmundur Benónísson b. in Rangárvallasýsla in 1863. He took the name Sverrisson then Swearson in the west.

Valmundur came west in 1892 with his daughter Sigríður while Ingibjörg had come west the year before with Víglundur. Valmundur’s grandfather was Jón Sverrisson and Valmundur took that last name in the west. Later, he uses the name Swearson and all his children took that name as well. They settled in the Garðar Settlement in N. Dakota but moved from there to the Mouse River Settlement in 1897. They later moved to Upham. Valmundur took care of the mail distribution as well as farmed his land.
