Jónína emigrated west to Spanish Fork, Utah in 1886 with her parents and siblings. Angus Leo and Jónína first lived in Scofield, moved to Taber, Alberta at the beginning of the 20th century, but then moved back to Utah in 1908 and settled in Mapleton.
