Kristján Eggertsson Fjeldsted was born on May 30, 1864 in Snæfellsnessýsla. He died in the Lundar settlement on September 17, 1945.
Spouse: 1898 Guðbjörg Jónsdóttir b. August 29, 1870 at Akranes in Borgarfjarðarsýsla, d. August 11, 1926.

They came west to Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1903 and lived there for several years. In 1907, they moved to the Lundar settlement and lived on their land south of Lundar. In 1920 they moved into the village.
