Kristján first came west in 1902 and lived in Churchbridge and in Tantallon, Saskatchewan. He went back to Iceland in 1907 and married there. He again came west to Saskatchewan, lived the first year in Tantallon and then in Foam Lake in 1909 where he lived after that. He was a farmer.
