Margrét Hólmfríður Guðjónsdóttir was born on November 10, 1860 in N. Múlasýsla. She died in Minnesota on February 17, 1938.
Spouse: Daníel Sigurðsson b. August 30, 1849 in N. Múlasýsla, d. in Minneapolis on March 22, 1913. He took the last name Jones in the west.

Margrét came west in 1880 with her mother, Kristín Jóhannesdóttir, and brother Jón Sigurður. They settled in Minnesota. Daníel came west to Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1873 and lived there for some years before moving west to Minneota, Minnesota. Later he and Margrét moved to Minneapolis where they lived the rest of their lives.
