They emigrated in 1873 to Ontario in Canada. Went to New Iceland in 1875 and Garðar Settlement in N. Dakota in 1881. From there he went to the Markerville Settlement in Alberta in 1888. Moved back to Manitoba around 1900 and lived in Winnipeg.
