Páll Friðbjörnsson was born in Canada after 1873.
He lived with his parents, Friðbjörn Björnsson and Anna Árnadóttur, in Ontario and later in New Iceland. He moved with them to N. Dakota in 1881 and grew up in the Thingvalla Settlement.
He settled in the Lakes Settlement (Vatnabyggð) in Saskatchewan in either 1906 or 1907, but then sold his land and moved to Mountain, N. Dakota. He died young.
