Páll and Snjólaug emigrated to America in 1891 and went to N. Dakota. After some time they moved to Qu’Appelle Valley in Saskatchewan where they lived for four years. From there they moved east to the Brown Settlement in Manitoba where they resided the next five years. From there they crossed the border into N. Dakota but eventually found their place in the Kandahar Settlement in Saskatchewan in 1910.
