They emigrated west to Nova Scotia in 1876, and first lived Lockeport before settling at Hjarðarholt in Markland. They moved west to Winnipeg about 1880 and then on to the Beaulieu Settlement west of Hallson, N. Dakota in 1882. In 1913, they sold their land and moved west to the Pacific. They bought land and lived in Blaine, Washington.
