Rósa Ingibjörg Jónsdóttir was born in S. Múlasýsla on August 18, 1867. She died in Blaine, Washington on January 9, 1950.
Spouse: October 1, 1892 Tryggvi Jónsson b. in N. Þingeyjarsýsla in 1850, d. November 15, 1922 in Leslie in the Lakes Settlement (Vatnabyggð).
Children: 1. Marin Ólafur b. June 25, 1897 2. Rósa Kristbjörg b. October 2, 1898 3. Halldór Vilbert b. April 23, 1901 4. Edward Steinþór b. January 15, 1906 5. María Soffía died in childhood. Tryggvi had three sons with his first wife: 1. Gunnlaugur b. November 14, 1880, d. July 14, 1964 2. Jón b. November 22, 1882, d. in Los Angeles on April 3, 1963 3. Jóhann b. July 27, 1885. They remained in Iceland.
Tryggvi and Rósa came west, newly married, to Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1893. They moved to the Pembina Settlement in N. Dakota and lived there until 1920. That year, they moved to the Lakes Settlement (Vatnabyggð) in Saskatchewan and lived in Leslie.
