Sesselja and Sigurbjörn came west to Winnipeg in 1878 together with Sesselja’ mother, Helga Arngrímsdóttir, and younger sister, Guðný. Andrés came west to Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1887 and quickly bought land in the Argyle Settlement. He lived there until 1922 when he moved to Glenboro.
