Sesselja was the daughter of Jóhann Daníelsson and Kristín Eldjárnsdóttir. She was taken in as a foster child by EgillÁrnason, a farmer at Bakka in Borgarfjörður eystri and moved with them to the West in 1904. Eyvindur came west in 1881, lived some time in Mikley but moved in 1907 to land in the Víðir-Sand Hills Settlement. He lived there 5 years, then moved to Winnipeg where he lived for 2 years. His road led him north in 1914 and he is now in Riverton.
