Sigríður Guðrún Björnsdóttir was born on March 9, 1871 in Strandasýsla. She died in the Lakes Settlement (Vatnabyggð) in 1931.
Spouse: Eggert Björnsson b. in Húnavatnssýsla in 1865, d. in the Lakes Settlement (Vatnabyggð) in 1936.

Sigríður came west in 1883 with her parents, Björn Jósefsson and Þóra Guðmundsdóttir, who settled in N. Dakota. Eggert came west with his father, Björn Sigvaldason in 1888. Eggert lived for a time in the United States, but then took land in the Lakes Settlement (Vatnabyggð) in Saskatchewan in 1904 and moved there in 1905.
