Sigríður Jakobína Lárusdóttir was born on August 12, 1876 in Húnavatnssýsla.
Spouse: July 29, 1909 Guðmundur Daníelsson b. in Gullbringusýsla on June 26, 1878. He took the name Guðmundur D. Grímsson in the west.
Children: 1. Anna Sigríður b. June 16, 1910 2. Jón Vilberg b. October 15, 1917.
Guðmundur came west with his parents, Daníel Grímsson and Sigríður Þorsteinsdóttir in 1885. They first lived in the Garðar Settlement in N. Dakota, but then moved to the Lakes Settlement (Vatnabyggð) in Saskatchewan in 1905. Guðmundur took land there a short distance from Mozart in 1907. Sigríður was the daughter of Lárus Gunnarsson and Anna Helgadóttir. Anna came west as a widow in 1887 while Sigríður had arrived a year earlier. They settled in the Garðar Settlement in N. Dakota.
