Sigurfinnur Sigurðsson: Born in Vestur-Skaftafellssýsla on June 20, 1857. Died in Saskatchewan in 1923.
Spouse: Sesselja Árnadóttir born in 1871 in Suður-Múlasýsla and died on September 11, 1963 at Foam Lake.

They came west in 1911 and lived in the Spy Hill, Saskatchewan area where they knew people. They left there in 1912 and took land in the Framnes Settlement. The family was big and the land was insufficient so they left and went back to Spy Hill and homesteaded near Gerald. Everything was going well but during a period of drought on the Saskatchewan prairie farming became very difficult so they moved north to Foam Lake.
