Sigurjón Jónsson was born in N. Múlasýsla on November 15, 1881. He died in the Lundar Settlement on June 29, 1945. He took the last name Erickson in the west.
Spouse: 1929 Ragnheiður Þórðardóttir b. June 27, 1908 in the Lundar Settlement, d. December 8, 1978.

Sigurjón came west to Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1891, and his father arrived there in 1893. They settled in the Lundar Settlement. Ragnheiður was the daughter of Þórðar Sigurðsson of Mýrasýsla and his wife Guðbjörg Sigurjónsdóttir.
