Sulime Jóhanna Stefánsdóttir was born on November 27, 1873 in Skagafjarðarsýsla. She died in N. Dakota on September 20, 1905.

Sulime was the daughter of Stefán Jónsson and Guðrún Ólafsdóttir who came west in 1882. They settled in N. Dakota. Ófeigur first came west in 1880, moved back to Iceland, but then returned west from Akureyri in 1883. He lived in N. Dakota until 1911, moved north to the Lake Settlement (Vatnabyggð), and settled in Wynyard. He lived there the rest of his life.
