Sveinn came west to Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1889. He moved to Akra, N. Dakota and got a job teaching. He moved to Brown, Manitoba in 1889 but moved back to N. Dakota in 1906. They later moved west to the Pacific coast and lived in Bremerton, Washington and later in Seattle.
