Þorbjörg Sveinsdóttir was born on July 8, 1875 in Skagafjarðarsýsla. She died in 1973 in Vancouver.
Spouse: Þorsteinn Indriðason b. in Eyjafjarðarsýsla in 1873, d. in Coquitlam, British Columbia on February 14, 1852. He took the name Thorstein (Stone) Indridason in the west.
Children: 1. Sveinn b. July 8, 1898, d. September 2, 1979 2. Þorsteinn b. November 11, 1901.
Þorbjörg was the daughter of Sveinn Sölvason and Monika Jónsdóttir and came west with them in 1887. Þorsteinn came west to Canada in 1876 with his parents, Indriði Sigurðsson and Sigurbjörg Kristjánsdóttir, and siblings in 1876. Þorsteinn and Þorbjörg started farming near Mountain, N. Dakota but later moved north to the Lakes Settlement (Vatnabyggð) in Saskatchewan. From there, they moved west to the Pacific and lived in Vancouver.
