Þórhallur Þórhallsson was born in Ísafjarðarsýsla on June 20, 1897. He took the name Thory Johnson in the west.
Unmarried and childless.
He came west in 1901 with his widowed mother Sigurást Daðadóttir. They move to Pembina, N. Dakota and Þórhallur lived there. His mother married Jóhann Björnsson in Alberta in 1906 and settled there. Þórhallur took part in World War I and returned in 1919. Little information is found about him after that.
