Vilborg Þórðardóttir was born on February 5, 1831 in Rangárvallasýsla. She died on January 18, 1924 in Utah. She took the name Hanna Arnason in the west.
Spouse: 1) October 12, 1861 Jón Pétursson b. March 29, 1829, d. July 15, 1868 2) October 9, 1872 Sigurður Árnason b. November 28, 1842, d. February 9, 1923. He was known as Siggie Arnason in the west.
Children: With Jón: 1. Guðrún Soffía b. January 25, 1863, d. January 18, 1924 2. Ólöf Þóranna b. November 6, 1864, d. August 5, 1937 in Coalville, Utah 3. Jóhann Pétur b. October 6, 1866 4. Vilhjálmur f. 27. apríl, 1868, d. 7. mars, 1882. Sigurður and Vilborg had no children together.
They emigrated west to Spanish Fork, Utah in 1874 and took up the Mormon faith. Some years later, they gave up the faith and joined the Lutheran congregation in Spanish Fork.
