Vilborg Vigfúsdóttir was born on December 9, 1833 in N. Múlasýsla. She died in Glenboro, Manitoba on January 9, 1906.

November 30, 1918 4. Rósa Ingibjörg b. August 18, 1867, d. in Blaine, Washington on January 19, 1950 5. Gunnlaugur b. 1873, d. July 12, 1941 in Houston, Texas 6. Halldór b. in the Fljóts Settlement on June 9, 1878.
They came west to Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1876 with their children Bergvin, Sigríður, and Gunnlaugur; Rósa and Stefán stayed behind, but came west later. They first went north to Mikley in New Iceland, where they called their land Borðeyri. They were there until the summer of 1878, when they settled in the Fljóts Settlement. When John died in 1881, Vilborg decided to move to Winnipeg with her children in 1882. In 1889, Bergvin decided to move to Seattle and Vilborg moved with him. Sigríður moved to Glenboro and Vilborg moved there later.
