Speculation in Western sources says she was born in April, 1861 and then listed with another name (Rosa Peterson?). It is mentioned that an Anna Peterson, b. in April, 1879 in Iceland, had lived with them in 1900 in S. Dakota. Sigurður lived with Jón and his sons in Nordland Township in Lyon County in 1880 and 1885.
