Páll Eyjólfsson was born in 1872 in N. Múlasýsla. He died in the Lakes Settlement (Vatnabyggð) on December 6, 1923. He took the name Paul Eyolfson in the west.

Spouse: Þorbjörg Bjarnadóttir b. in Húnavatnssýsla on February 16, 1873, d. at Borg retirement home in N. Dakota on March 6, 1960.

Childless, but they took in as foster children Louis Jacobs, and the niece of Þorbjörg and namesake b. August 18, 1908, the daughter of Helgi Bjarnason and Helga Jóhannsdóttir.

Páll came west to New Iceland in 1876 with his parents, Eyjólfur Eyjólfsson and Signý Pálsdóttir, and younger brother.  Þorbjörg came west alone to Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1892. Páll took land in the Lakes Settlement (Vatnabyggð) in Saskatchewan in 1904 in the Kandahar/Dafoe area. His father-in-law, Bjarni Helgason, was also there.
