Maki: 1) Kristveig Jónsdóttir d. 1880 2) 13. apríl, 1890 Karólína Ólafsdóttir f. í Snæfellsnessýslu 30. júní, 1862. Börn: Með Karólínu 1. Lydia Ásta. Önnur ónafngreind dóttir dó stuttu eftir fæðingu. Tómas fór vestur til Winnipeg í Manitoba með bróður sínum Vilhjálmi og fjölskyldu hans árið 1887. …
